Description
Electromechanical maintenance technician for industrial facilities. Tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, addressing both mechanical and electrical failures. Electromechanical issues will be diagnosed and resolved by replacing and adjusting components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, contactors, variable frequency drives, or automation devices. Equipment inspections, adjustments, and commissioning will also be carried out, verifying proper operation and recording all interventions in accordance with maintenance and safety procedures.
A Higher Vocational Training qualification in Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Automation and Robotics, or a related field is required. A valid forklift and overhead crane operator license obtained within the last five years is mandatory. Prior demonstrable experience in electromechanical maintenance within industrial environments is also valued.
The contract is temporary, lasting six months, with the possibility of conversion to an indefinite-term contract. Working hours are full-time, with rotating shifts: morning shift (06:00–14:00) or afternoon shift (14:00–22:00). Salary complies with the Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement. The position is located in Avilés, Asturias.
