We seek a hybrid profile — a professional who enjoys cooking the finest local produce, but who is also passionate about organization, profitability, and team leadership. We are looking for someone capable of excelling on two fronts. **Responsibilities and duties:** 1\. Dual mission: **Culinary and Management Responsibilities** * Culinary Excellence * Lead service with finesse and passion. * Ensure every dish (from our traditional offerings to new creations) is served with impeccable quality. 2\. **Strategic Management**: * Recipe Costing Control: Optimize costs to ensure profitability. * Order and Inventory Management: Liaise with local suppliers and rigorously control waste. * Team Leadership: Develop fair schedules, train staff, and foster a positive work environment. What are we looking for in you? * Proven experience as Head Chef. * Analytical ability to manage kitchen costs and KPIs. * Interpersonal skills and capacity to motivate the team. * Residence in the area or willingness to relocate to Rioja Alavesa. A **permanent contract** is offered, with direct hiring by the company. The **working schedule will be from Wednesday to Sunday, approximately 08:00\-16:00**. We champion equal opportunity and an inclusive workplace.** REQUIREMENTS **Education and Experience:** * Education in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Gastronomy (highly desirable). * Minimum **5\-7 years** of experience in similar roles or as Head Chef. * Knowledge of advanced culinary techniques and traditional/creative cuisine. * Experience managing kitchen teams. **Technical Competencies:** * Menu planning and development. * Cost control, recipe costing, and supplier management. * Daily kitchen production organization and supervision. * Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP). * Order, inventory, and stock management.
