We are looking to hire a specialized network virtualization professional to work on advanced infrastructure projects focused on ensuring availability, security, and scalability of critical environments. The selected candidate will actively participate in the operation and evolution of technology platforms, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-impact technical decisions. This position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model—working some days remotely from home and others onsite at the office, where you can build meaningful synergies with your team. Residency in Spain and valid work authorization in Spain are mandatory. Responsibilities: * Administer and implement network virtualization solutions based on VMware NSX and NSX\-T Data Center in production environments. * Monitor and optimize the performance of virtualized networks, ensuring SLA compliance and high availability. * Design and implement network security policies (microsegmentation, distributed firewalls) in virtualized environments. * Automate operational tasks using orchestration tools and integrate with cloud platforms. Accountabilities: * Manage virtual network infrastructure by aligning architecture with security standards and best practices. * Coordinate with systems, cloud, and security teams to ensure service interoperability. * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and continuous improvement. * Ensure proper technological platform evolution to meet emerging business needs. Mandatory Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of professional experience administering virtualized networks. * Minimum 4 years of experience with VMware NSX. * Minimum 4 years of experience with VMware NSX\-T Data Center. * University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related fields. Desirable Requirements: * At least 2 years of experience with VMware vRealize Network Insight (VRNI). * Minimum 3 years of experience with advanced network virtualization concepts. * Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure technologies. * Minimum 2 years of experience applying IT security protocols in IT environments. * Minimum 2 years of experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible or Terraform).
