Job Summary: We are seeking a 2nd Maître - Sommelier to support the organization of the dining room service, manage the wine list, and advise guests. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in supervising the dining room service 2. Wine and food pairing management and advisory 3. Training and mentoring of the dining room team Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is a multinational hotel chain. At CATALONIA HOTELS & RESORTS, we are looking for a young professional to join the team of the MOLINA LARIO hotel, located in the heart of Málaga, as a 2nd MAITRE - SOMMELIER. The main responsibilities include: * Supporting the Maître in organizing and supervising the dining room service. * Managing and updating the **wine and beverage list**. * Advising guests on wine selection and food pairings. * Monitoring stock levels, orders, and cellar inventories. * Supervising service standards, protocols, and guest service. * Training and mentoring the dining room team on wines and service. * Coordinating with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service. * Resolving service-related incidents with a guest-oriented approach. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a sommelier in a restaurant * Advanced English + Other languages are an asset * Outgoing personality, passion for guest service, and strong presence. Dynamic and organized individual. * Guest-oriented mindset and positive attitude. * Leadership ability and teamwork skills. * Education in hospitality.
