We are seeking a candidate for the **Bartender** position, responsible for delivering professional, efficient, and personalized beverage service, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and customers while maintaining the property’s quality and service standards. The individual in this role will have a clearly customer-oriented focus, combining product knowledge, technical expertise, and hospitality to deliver consistent, high-level service. Their primary objective will be to contribute to a memorable bar experience while simultaneously ensuring efficient operational and product management. **What would your responsibilities be?** ***Service and Customer Experience*** * Serve guests and customers professionally, warmly, and personally. * Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beverages, and other preparations according to established standards. * Advise on the beverage menu and make recommendations tailored to customer preferences. * Guarantee agile, accurate, and excellence-oriented service. * Handle special requests and incidents professionally and with a solution-oriented attitude. ***Bar Operations*** * Properly prepare and maintain the workstation before, during, and after service. * Ensure correct presentation of beverages, glassware, and service items. * Follow recipes, standards, and procedures established for each preparation. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization at the bar throughout service. * Collaborate with the dining room team and other departments to ensure smooth operations. ***Product and Cost Management*** * Control usage and storage conditions of beverages, ingredients, and bar materials. * Conduct inventories and communicate restocking needs. * Accurately apply prescribed measures and procedures to minimize waste. * Contribute to cost control and achievement of departmental objectives. * Ensure proper storage and preservation of products. ***Quality and Standards*** * Comply with established hygiene, food safety, and prevention protocols. * Maintain the property’s presentation and service standards. * Know the beverage menu, ingredients, products, and key preparation techniques. * Stay updated on trends and innovations in mixology and beverages. * Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience. **What do we require from you?** ***Education*** * Training in Hospitality, Catering, Mixology, or related fields. * Additional specialized training in mixology and beverages is desirable. ***Experience*** * Prior experience as a Bartender in hotels, restaurants, bars, beach clubs, or high-end establishments. * Experience in luxury hospitality environments and high-volume operations is desirable. ***Languages*** * Advanced English and Spanish. * Additional languages are valued. ***Key Competencies*** * Excellent customer orientation. * Communication skills and service attitude. * Attention to detail. * Agility and ability to work under pressure. * Teamwork. * Proactivity and solution-oriented attitude. * Passion for mixology and the beverage industry. ***Technical Knowledge*** * Knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage service. * Familiarity with spirits, liqueurs, wines, and bar products. * Proficiency with POS systems and order management software. * Knowledge of hygiene and food safety protocols. * Knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and current trends is desirable.
