Job Summary: We are looking for a JavaScript developer to collaborate on modernizing an Edtech platform, building React components and enhancing product usability. Key Highlights: 1. Visual and usability improvements to the product Description We are collaborating with an **Edtech** company specializing in **English language teaching** for early childhood, primary, compulsory secondary (ESO), and upper secondary (Bachillerato) education. Founded in **2015**, they offer proprietary curricular methodologies and a gamified digital platform featuring readings, interactive activities, and tracking tools—fostering motivating, level-adapted learning for students, as well as resources and training for educators. With a strong presence in **Spain**, they partner with over **600 schools**, and their platform is used by more than **150k students**. To continue delivering top-tier resources and teaching excellence, they are undergoing a period of transformation with several strategic goals ahead—including modernizing their platform, ensuring greater scalability, and guaranteeing a more robust, growth-ready product. **Responsibilities:** * Participate in the transition to **React** \+ **Hooks**, building components and new interfaces. * Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of the design system using **Figma** and **Storybook**. * Implement visual and usability improvements to the product. * Support basic backend tasks in Node.js, MongoDB, and Redis when required. **Conditions:** * 100% remote work from Spain. Basic Requirements **What are we looking for?** * +2 years of experience in JavaScript environments (ES5–ES6) and related frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) * Experience with backend frameworks (Node.js, Express.js) * Experience with Backbone / jQuery / Underscore. * Knowledge of React \+ Hooks. * Proficiency with Bootstrap. * Experience with Figma (desirable). * Knowledge of Storybook (desirable). 25\.000€\-30\.000€ Spain 100% Remote **Contact person:** cgonzalez@q\-techrec.com 638 405 476
