Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate Maître with a strong commitment to hospitality and guest service to join our team, managing and supervising front-of-house operations and staff at ABBA Hotels. To continue providing top-tier service, we are looking for a Maître to join our team at the **Hotel ABBA Comillas**. If you are passionate about hospitality and guest service, this is the perfect opportunity for you. **Responsibilities:** * **Management, planning, and control of the front-of-house area**: supervision of the restaurant, banquet halls, bar\-cafeteria, and other related spaces. * **Creation of staff schedules and vacation planning**, ensuring optimal shift distribution. * **Hiring new, temporary, or ETT (Temporary Employment Agency) staff**, in coordination with the Human Resources department. * **Monitoring key performance indicators together with administration/management**, to ensure efficient management of supervised staff. * **Conducting inventories and coordinating with the purchasing department**, for effective order management. * **Monitoring production and expenses within the department**, ensuring efficient use of resources. * **Guest service**: handling complaints and suggestions to enhance the guest experience. * **Cash collection, reconciliation, and settlement** of daily revenue, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial operations. * **Active participation in training staff under supervision**, ensuring full compliance with ABBA Hotels’ procedures. * **Supervision of setup and decoration** across various hotel areas, ensuring all details meet the chain’s quality standards. * **Management and maintenance of equipment and materials** required for front-of-house activities across all areas. * **Reservation management** and coordination with the Information Coordination Center (CCI) for organizing groups, events, and other special services. **We Offer:** * Start date: April 1. * Fixed-term discontinuous contract. * Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. * A dynamic and professional work environment within a renowned hotel chain. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * Compensation according to collective agreement. **Requirements:** --------------- * Prior experience in similar roles within the hotel and/or restaurant industry. * Conversational English. Additional languages are a plus. * Leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills. * Guest-oriented mindset and ability to handle high-pressure situations. * Familiarity with hotel management systems and cost control tools. * Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. * Personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace.
