Serving assigned customers **Date Posted:** 2026\-05\-11**Country:** Spain**Location:** Antonio Hernández Gil 19, 06800 MERIDA, Spain**PORTIS**, a national leader in the automatic doors industry, is hiring **AUTOMATIC DOORS TECHNICIANS** in **MÉRIDA**: As an AUTOMATIC DOORS TECHNICIAN, your responsibilities will include: * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks along assigned routes. * Identifying new business opportunities with new customers to expand the client portfolio and grow the business. * Serving assigned customers. To succeed in this role, we require: **EDUCATION**: Vocational Training Level II (FPII) or equivalent. Knowledge of welding, electricity, electronics, and metal carpentry will be valued. Additionally, prior training in Occupational Health and Safety (PRL, 50\-60 hours) and possession of licenses for elevated work platforms and forklifts will also be valued. **PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**: Minimum one year of prior experience in preventive/corrective maintenance and/or installation of automatic doors is mandatory. Experience in direct customer interaction and social skills for identifying business opportunities will be valued. **LANGUAGES**: Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous. **OFFICE SOFTWARE**: User-level or advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite. **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * Valid Class B driver’s license is mandatory.
