Surrounded by nature and enjoying privileged access to the island’s landscape and coastline, they offer an intimate experience deeply connected to the environment. **What are we looking for?** We seek technically skilled professionals eager to take the next step in their career — combining hands-on operational work with coordination and supervision of maintenance teams. This position will be highly field-oriented, blending team coordination with technical expertise, and entails responsibility for executing and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as assuming departmental operations in the absence of the Head of Maintenance. As Deputy Head of Maintenance, you will support the Head of Maintenance in daily departmental management, assume on-site technical operational coordination, and serve as a key reference for the team — stepping in for the Head of Maintenance during their absence. We seek proactive, organized individuals with sound technical judgment — capable of anticipating issues, setting priorities, and maintaining our facilities in excellent operational, safety, and comfort conditions, with particular sensitivity toward the conservation of historic properties. **Responsibilities:** * Support the Head of Maintenance in organizing and monitoring departmental activities, and assume operational responsibility in their absence. * Coordinate and assign daily tasks to the team of technicians and maintenance assistants, supervising proper execution of interventions. * Carry out and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other installations. * Monitor implementation of the preventive maintenance plan and ensure accurate recording of all interventions. * Supervise operation of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection systems (PCI), swimming pools, and home automation and building automation systems. * Coordinate and supervise work carried out by external contractors and technical service providers. * Manage technical materials and spare parts inventory, communicating procurement needs to the Head of Maintenance. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and occupational health and safety (PRL) standards in all interventions. * Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reception, F\&B, Kitchen, and Guest Experience teams to prioritize incidents and minimize impact on guest experience. * Contribute to the responsible conservation of historic buildings and their surroundings, upholding Vestige Collection’s quality, safety, and comfort standards. **What do we offer?** * Permanent full-time contract * Competitive salary commensurate with your experience and professional value * On-site working arrangement **Requirements:** --------------- **What we are looking for:** * Technical education in electricity, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, technical engineering, or related field * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in 4\-5\* hotels, luxury properties, or premium environments * Demonstrable experience with building automation and home automation systems (lighting, HVAC, access control, centralized control) * Knowledge of electrical installations (distribution boards, power distribution, high/low voltage) * General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, and general facility maintenance * Attention to detail, safety orientation, and a proactive, solution-driven approach to critical incidents * Intermediate level of English (valued but not mandatory) * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (mandatory) * Availability to cover on-call duties or urgent interventions
