Key responsibilities include: * Development of mechanical projects for industrial plants, covering the energy, chemical, and related sectors. * Advanced 3D modeling of piping systems, including pipe design, supports, equipment, and structures. * Extraction and generation of 2D drawings from 3D models, such as piping isometrics and support drawings. * Close collaboration with other departments and engineering teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical designs. * Review and validation of designs to ensure compliance with technical and safety regulations. * Participation in defining technical specifications and material selection. * Management of project technical documentation. * Identification and proposal of improvements to design processes and technical solutions. **Job Requirements** ------------------------- To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential requirements: * **Education:** Technical Engineer, Higher Technician in Mechanical Project Development, or Higher Technician in Thermal and Fluid Installations Project Development. * **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an industrial designer. Experience gained in Spain for at least 3 of these years will be viewed favorably. * **Specific Experience:** Demonstrable experience in industrial plant design, with particular emphasis on the energy and chemical sectors. * **Design Software:** Advanced proficiency in CAD tools, including: * AutoCAD Plant 3D * Navisworks * AutoCAD 2D * **3D Modeling:** Demonstrable experience in 3D piping modeling within industrial plant environments, covering pipe design, supports, equipment, and structures. * **Drawing Extraction:** Ability to extract detailed 2D drawings—such as piping isometrics and support drawings—from 3D models. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------- * Knowledge of industry-specific standards (API, ASME, etc.). * Experience in project management. * Communication and teamwork skills. * Proactivity and problem-solving ability. **What We Offer** ------------------- * The opportunity to join a long-term project (\> 12 months) at a reference company. * A dynamic and professional working environment in Bilbao. * Collaboration on large-scale, technologically interesting projects. * Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
