DevOps Engineer

Description

At Logicalis Spain, we are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join our managed services pool, participating in the operation, evolution, and automation of critical container-based platforms and CI/CD pipelines. We seek a candidate with experience in managing Kubernetes platforms, automation, and CI/CD, as well as strong technical leadership capabilities, ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate across multiple teams, and assume ownership of services. The selected candidate will work in hybrid environments—on-premise and cloud—ensuring platform availability, stability, security, and performance, as well as driving continuous improvement of operational and deployment processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Administer, operate, and evolve container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, and/or EKS * Design and maintain Day 2 automation and operational processes, reducing manual tasks and improving operational efficiency * Automate infrastructure and configuration using Ansible, Helm, and Terraform * Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Shell Script * Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD * Manage deployments, upgrades, configurations, backups, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex incidents * Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, and availability * Proactively analyze issues and participate in defining preventive and improvement actions * Collaborate closely with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams * Participate in defining and implementing operational, security, automation, and documentation standards * Serve as a technical reference point, supporting other team members and contributing sound judgment to decision-making * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technological evolution of managed platforms **Mandatory Qualifications** * Senior-level experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE, preferably within managed services environments * Solid experience administering and operating Kubernetes and/or OpenShift in production environments * Advanced knowledge of CI/CD and hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar * Experience with Git and continuous integration and deployment methodologies * Experience in Day 2 automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code * Strong proficiency in Ansible, Helm, and Terraform * Scripting and automation skills using Python and/or Shell Script * Experience working in hybrid, on-premise, and cloud environments * Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed and containerized platforms * Strong communication, organizational, and cross-team collaboration skills * Mindset focused on automation, continuous improvement, and service quality **Desirable Qualifications** * Experience with Kubernetes backup and recovery solutions such as Velero or Kasten * Knowledge of storage solutions for container platforms, such as ODF, Rook/Ceph, CSI, etc. * Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) * Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana * Familiarity with logging platforms such as Elastic Stack / Elasticsearch * Knowledge of container and Kubernetes platform security * Experience in high-availability and 24x7 production environments * Prior experience in technical leadership, team coordination, or service management **What We Offer at Logicalis Spain?** Logicalis Spain is an international group with over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, delivering large-scale projects and services in Data Centers, Cybersecurity, and Analytics. * A stable employment position. * Availability for occasional interventions. * Intensive work schedule every Friday, and during July and August. * Birthday holiday + personal day. * Access to flexible compensation plans (meal card, transport card). * We care about your well-being: you’ll have access to Private Medical Insurance and Wellhub (Gympass). * Significant discounts on various services and training programs as a Logicalis employee (retail, electronics, travel, etc.). * Role-specific training and certifications. * Professional development through cutting-edge projects and current market technologies.
