We are looking to permanently hire a Cloud Engineer (AWS) with DevOps experience. Responsibilities: Design, operation, and assurance of our distributed event platform and service gateway. Maintenance of real-time data flows and cloud application connectivity. The project allows 100% remote work from anywhere in Spain. Technical Requirements: * Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience with Amazon Web Services, especially deploying and managing containers using Amazon EKS. * Streaming Ecosystem and Kafka: Advanced expertise in Apache Kafka and its associated components, including Kafka Connect, Kafka REST Proxy, Kafka Schema Registry, and ksqlDB. Experience administering clusters, configuring data retention and compaction, traffic quotas, and replication via MirrorMaker. Familiarity with management tools such as Lenses or Kpow is a plus. * API Management and Architecture: Administration of Kong API Gateway (including Kong Ingress\-Controller and Konnect) in high-availability and multi\-region environments. Experience designing APIs according to industry standards and using tools like SwaggerHub. Knowledge of load-balancing strategies and service meshes. * Security and Observability: Implementation of security policies for APIs, rate limiting management, and deployment of web application firewalls (WAF). Experience with comprehensive monitoring using Grafana, Loki, and OpenSearch, as well as implementing auto\-scaling of consumers via Keda and Burrow. - English: B2
