Participation in challenging and diverse projects DESCRIPTION IYMESA, a company belonging to GRUPO IMESE, is looking to hire an IT or Telecommunications Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team and provide services to a major client in the metallurgical industry, located in the Campo de Gibraltar. We seek someone capable of adapting to new regulations and adding value to the company, with skills in handling and configuring electronic equipment. **Main Responsibilities:** * Management and maintenance of virtualization infrastructures (VMware vSphere). * Administration and optimization of Oracle databases. * Design, implementation, and administration of networks, covering both infrastructure and associated equipment management. * Support and administration of Linux and Windows Server operating systems. * Configuration and troubleshooting of various electronic equipment. * Participation in defining and implementing improvements to IT systems. * Technical documentation of systems and procedures. * Continuous training to adapt to emerging regulations and technologies. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in the industrial or metallurgical sector. * Additional knowledge of other virtualization or database technologies. * Relevant certifications in the mentioned technologies (VMware, Oracle, Cisco, Microsoft, Linux). * Knowledge of IT process automation. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. **Why Join GRUPO IMESE?** At GRUPO IMESE, we offer a dynamic work environment where you can develop your professional career. REQUIREMENTS **Minimum Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering. * Proven experience of at least 5 years in similar positions. * Proficiency in VMware vSphere. * Solid experience in Oracle database administration. * Knowledge of networking, including design, implementation, and infrastructure management. * Experience in Linux system administration. * Experience in Windows Server system administration. * Demonstrated ability to handle and configure electronic equipment. * Ability to work rotating shifts. * Driver's license (desirable). * Availability for immediate start. **Additional training (non-exclusive but beneficial):** * TPC 20-hour course * PRL 60-hour course * Work at heights * Work in confined spaces
