




Position Summary: The Big Data and Advanced Analytics Lead will lead the implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives aligned with the company’s strategy and business objectives. Fosters cross-functional collaboration for AI-driven innovation and optimization Job Description: **MISSION** The Big Data and Advanced Analytics Lead will implement AI initiatives (predictive AI, generative AI, agentic AI, and future AI types emerging in the market) across various company departments, aligned with the company’s strategy and supporting the achievement of business objectives, working cross-functionally with all company teams (various business units — customers, distribution, operations, etc. \- , technology, transformation/IA Office, etc.) **KEY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES** * Evaluate and contribute to the design of solutions developed by the team, and provide technical and planning oversight for each project * Supervise the development, training, and deployment of AI models. Monitor and assess the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring proper BAU operation and control * Manage budgets and resources associated with each project * Ensure quality, ethics, and regulatory compliance in AI projects * Develop team work methodologies that guarantee project quality and monitor corresponding KPIs * Collaborate with business areas to identify AI-driven innovation and optimization opportunities * Establish and manage relationships with AXA Group **PROFILE** **Education:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. **Experience:** * Over 5 years leading technical teams and managing AI projects. * Leadership experience with Data Science teams. **Technical Knowledge:** * AI technologies and tools (predictive, generative, and agentic AI). * Azure, Databricks, Python, Spark, SQL, and Scala (desirable). * Knowledge of MLOps and PMP project management. * Insurance sector expertise and understanding of AI-related ethical and regulatory aspects. **Skills and Competencies:** * Strategic, innovative, and results-oriented mindset. * Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration. * Continuous learning ability and market awareness. * High proficiency in English (advanced level). **Why Join AXA Spain?** AXA Spain is one of AXA’s most significant Talent Hubs, with over 3\.000 employees working on local and international projects.
