At Kairós, you’ll find projects enabling remote work — without losing closeness with the rest of the team! **What Are We Looking For?** We seek a **Senior Architect** capable of designing **Multi\-Cloud or Hybrid\-Cloud** fault-tolerant architectures. It is essential to ensure platform elasticity, security-by-design, and economic efficiency. The candidate will join our Tech discipline, led by **Carlos Cañado and Reinaldo Aguilera**. Over **350 Kairoseros and Kairoseras** belong to the Tech family at Kairós, delivering technological solutions across all project phases — from inception and product definition — working with diverse frameworks and guaranteeing not only effective but also easy-to-use, maintainable, and technologically up-to-date solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * **Standards Definition:** Create and evangelize the company’s *API Style Guide* (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) to ensure consistency across all development. * **Lifecycle Governance:** Manage the global API catalog, from *API\-First* design through versioning and deprecation (Sunsetting). * **Security and Compliance:** Design architectures under the **Zero Trust** model, implementing advanced security policies (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS) and protection against threats (OWASP Top 10 for APIs). * **Stack Selection:** Evaluate and manage our **API Gateway and Management (APIM)** infrastructure (e.g., Apigee, Kong, Tyk). * **Developer Experience (DX):** Lead the creation of a robust Developer Portal to facilitate adoption and self-service by product teams. * **Observability:** Implement monitoring, distributed tracing, and telemetry strategies to ensure **99\.99%** uptime. ### **Technical Requirements** * **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Advanced proficiency in **Terraform** for multi-cloud environments, or native tools such as **AWS CDK** and **Google Anthos**. * **Cloud-Native Strategy:** Ability to design architectures minimizing vendor lock-in and maximizing portability via containers and open standards. * **FinOps and Optimization:** Implementation of tagging, quota, and budgeting policies to ensure cloud cost efficiency. * Experience with **AWS** or **GCP**. **AWS Ecosystem Specialization** * **High-Availability Compute:** Expert-level knowledge of **Amazon EC2**, microservice scaling with **EKS (Kubernetes)**, and event-driven architectures using **AWS Lambda** and **Fargate**. * **Networking and Content Delivery:** Advanced network architecture design with **VPC**, hybrid connectivity via **Transit Gateway / Direct Connect**, and global optimization with **Route53** and **CloudFront**. * **Data and Storage Layer:** Implementation of persistent solutions in **S3**, relational databases with **Amazon Aurora/RDS**, and low-latency NoSQL with **DynamoDB**. * **Security and Governance:** Configuration of multi-account **IAM**, secret management with **KMS**, and perimeter protection using **AWS WAF** and **Shield**. **GCP Ecosystem Specialization** * **Orchestration and Serverless:** Deep experience with **GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)**, rapid deployments via **Cloud Run**, and scalable functions in **Cloud Functions**. * **Global Networking:** Configuration of **VPC Global**, Layer-7 load balancing with **Cloud Armor**, and acceleration via **Cloud CDN**. * **Scalable Data Solutions:** Handling massive storage in **Cloud Storage**, analytics with **BigQuery**, and globally distributed databases using **Cloud Spanner** or **Bigtable**. * **Identity and Security Management:** Access control via **Cloud IAM**, encryption with **Cloud KMS**, and secure access through **Identity\-Aware Proxy (IAP)**. **What Can We Offer You?** At Kairós, you’ll find: * Free English classes in small groups. * 23 vacation days, December 24th and 31st off, 1 day for personal events, and **3 flexible-work days!** * Enjoy summer with our reduced working hours in August and shortened Fridays throughout the year. * Flexible compensation via Cobee — usable for dining, public transport, training, and childcare vouchers. * Health insurance with Cigna, Sanitas, or Adeslas — covering both physical and mental health. * Ongoing personal support through our Wellness 3\.0 program and continuous technical mentoring. * Opportunities to strengthen your personal brand at internal and external events. * Membership in a large community backed by exceptional people and industry leaders. * But above all… being part of a company that listens to you, cares for you, and strives to meet your needs and expectations.
