You must be the “owner” of the interoperability strategy, ensuring APIs are secure, scalable, consumable, and — above all — a business asset. The candidate will join our Tech discipline, led by **Carlos Cañado and Reinaldo Aguilera.** Over **350 Kairoseros and Kairoseras** belong to the Tech family at Kairós, delivering technological solutions across all project phases — from inception and product definition — working with diverse frameworks and always guaranteeing solutions that are not only effective but also easy to use, maintain, and adapt to the evolving technology landscape. **Key Responsibilities** * **Standard Definition:** Create and evangelize the company’s *API Style Guide* (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) to ensure consistency across all development. * **Lifecycle Governance:** Manage the global API catalog — from *API-First* design through versioning and deprecation (Sunsetting). * **Security and Compliance:** Design architectures following the **Zero Trust** model, implementing advanced security policies (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS) and protection against threats (OWASP Top 10 for APIs). * **Stack Selection:** Evaluate and manage our **API Gateway and Management (APIM)** infrastructure (e.g., Apigee, Kong, Tyk). * **Developer Experience (DX):** Lead the creation of a robust Developer Portal to facilitate adoption and self-service by product teams. * **Observability:** Implement monitoring, distributed tracing, and telemetry strategies to guarantee **99.99% uptime**. ### **Technical Requirements** * **Proven Experience:** +5 years designing distributed architectures and microservices ecosystems. * **Protocol Expertise:** Deep experience with HTTP/2, gRPC, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ). * **Design Tools:** Mastery of **OpenAPI (Swagger)** and AsyncAPI. * **Cloud Native:** Solid experience with Kubernetes, Service Mesh (Istio), and deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP. * **Testing:** Implementation of **Contract Testing** (Pact/Postman) strategies to prevent production breaks. **What Can We Offer You?** At Kairós, you’ll find: * Free English classes in small groups. * 23 vacation days, December 24 and 31 off, 1 day for events, and **3 flexible conciliation days!** * Enjoy summer with our reduced working hours in August and year-round intensive Friday schedules. * Flexible compensation via Cobee — usable for dining, public transport, training, and childcare vouchers. * Health insurance with Cigna, Sanitas, or Adeslas — we care about your physical and mental health. * Ongoing personal support through our Wellness 3.0 program and continuous technical mentoring. * Opportunities to strengthen your personal brand at internal and external events. * Membership in a vibrant community and support from exceptional, industry-leading professionals. * Most importantly… being part of a company where your voice is heard, you’re cared for, and we strive to meet your needs and expectations.
