The work is carried out in residential homes in Barcelona; several vacancies are available, and candidates may be placed on a substitute worker pool since numerous temporary assignments arise throughout the year. **Responsibilities:** * Providing necessary assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, feeding, dressing, household tasks, maintaining order and hygienic\-sanitary conditions in the room, and supervising overnight rest. * Stimulating and enhancing users' capabilities in learning or maintaining an active lifestyle. * Developing and implementing activities outlined in the assigned user’s Individual Care Plan (ICP), jointly evaluating progress with the team, technical director(s), and psychologist, while promoting autonomy according to users’ needs and preferences. * Collaborating in health monitoring and prevention, nursing care, and oral or topical medication administration as per medical instructions. Collaborating in managing and monitoring sphincter incontinence. * Conducting tutoring sessions for assigned users. * Maintaining communication with family members or legal guardians, informing them about the general condition of the person under care, advising them regarding basic needs (clothing, nutrition, health, etc.), and coordinating with other services related to the user (e.g., occupational workshops...). * Executing established or mandatory protocols and records: medication administration, hygiene, daily home log, and any others that may be introduced. * Receiving and issuing written information to coordinate with the technical director. Reporting any incidents to the relevant professional (e.g., psychologist, technical director...) to improve care for the person under care. * Developing and monitoring the ICP, tracking health status, clothing inventory... * Maintaining and supervising the home and its equipment: laundry, kitchen, rooms, table linens, bed sheets... * Ensuring adherence to established protocols. * Responding to emergencies occurring at the residence (e.g., medical incidents, falls...) as appropriate. * Supervising and, if needed, maintaining technical aids (walkers, crutches, wheelchairs...). * Encouraging user participation in recreational activities both inside the residence (monthly leisure activity programming) and outside (community services). * Collaborative teamwork and coordination with other professionals. * Attending periodic team meetings with the organization’s technical director and psychologist. * Participating in center improvement plans, such as specific residential projects—for example: implementing alternative communication systems, dog-assisted therapy... * Weekly/monthly assemblies with users to discuss cohabitation-related topics and/or needs. **Profile:** * Health, education, or social training. * Prior experience providing care to adults with functional diversity, preferably in residential settings. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Seriousness, punctuality, and responsibility.
