We at **Fritz\&Muller** are seeking a **Purchasing Manager** for a leading pharmaceutical company (engaged in the production and commercialization of nutritional supplements, medicinal plants, and pharmaceutical products), headquartered in Terrassa.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage, plan, and coordinate all procurement department activities, ensuring efficient supply of materials and products for production and distribution
* Lead strategic supplier management: identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers, maintaining long-term business relationships
* Define and manage purchasing plans according to production requirements and demand forecasts, ensuring material availability without generating excess inventory
* Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods
* Ensure regulatory compliance for all purchases, particularly regarding pharmaceutical, supplement, food, and cosmetic regulations (Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP, etc.)
* Conduct price and terms negotiations with suppliers to optimize costs
* Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Planning, Quality, and Finance departments
* Prepare reports on procurement management, supplier performance, and cost analysis for senior management
* Draft and review purchase contracts
* Also assume responsibilities as Supply Planning Manager: planning of internal and external manufacturing (CDMO), interdepartmental coordination (Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Operations, Administration), and inventory management
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemical Sciences, or related fields
* 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement, food, or cosmetic sectors
* Experience in regulated environments (e.g., Good Manufacturing Practices, GMP regulations) will be highly valued
* Knowledge of relevant industries, suppliers, and pricing
* Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems and MS Office (advanced Excel) is desirable
* Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and capacity to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
