Position Summary: We are seeking an Engineer to support the Mechanics, Propulsion, and Maneuvers Workshop team in basic and technical assistance tasks under direct supervision. Key Highlights: 1. (ASTICAN) is a privately owned ship repair yard staffed with experienced professionals, primarily engaged in the repair, maintenance, and conversion of all types of vessels, structures, and devices for marine renewable energy and offshore units.** ### **The shipyard commenced full operations in 1976 with modern facilities, particularly featuring a Syncrolift dry-docking system capable of lifting vessels up to 36,000 TPM, and seven dry-docking lanes meeting the quality and service standards demanded by shipowners, enabling rapid response with minimal advance notice.** **Position:** ----------- At ASTICAN, we are seeking a person to collaborate with and support the Mechanics, Propulsion, and Maneuvers Workshop team in basic and technical assistance tasks under the direct supervision of a specialized mechanical technician. Main responsibilities include: * Supporting preparation and organization of materials and tools for workshop tasks. * Collaborating in the execution of maneuvers and mechanical tasks as directed by the responsible technician. * Assisting in maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas. * Supporting basic inspection of equipment and tools, reporting any issues. * Assisting in managing simple documentation (work reports, basic records). Complying with company-established safety and environmental regulations. * **Requirements:** --------------- * Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. * English language proficiency at B2 level. * Prior experience in industrial environments or workshops is desirable. * Knowledge of naval mechanics and workshop machinery is desirable. **Additional Information:** --------------------- *ASTICAN is an equal opportunity employer.
