At SENER, we aim to welcome a Supply Chain Engineer to join our team. We are an engineering company pioneering the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we undertake the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. Our passion for precision has positioned us as trusted collaborators of leading space agencies, government bodies, and enterprises. The selected candidate will carry out assigned Supply Chain activities (Procurement, Inspections, Subcontract Management, etc.), proposing technical solutions and approaches while estimating effort, resources, and risks—all coordinated with team members to ensure successful delivery of SENER products. You will also participate in identifying improvements in production and industrialization processes. **Your Responsibilities:** * Perform Supply Chain tasks—Procurement, Inspection, and Subcontract Management—as assigned, in coordination with other team members or responsible parties. * Provide technical support, as required by other departments, for projects, inquiries, or improvement initiatives. * Collect and record necessary information to monitor technical, schedule, and cost progress of project or process work, and communicate it to the responsible person and project team to facilitate decision-making. * Organize and supervise accurate documentation for each phase of the assigned project, transmit it to the responsible person/project team, and ensure its availability across the rest of the team. * Anticipate deviations from the schedule (and/or cost plan) and propose contingency actions to minimize their impact (on cost, schedule, or quality) or effectively recover them within budget. * Analyze root causes of deviations relative to the original plan and report their impacts. * Participate in technical committees within your discipline to enhance both your autonomy and capabilities, and to ensure knowledge dissemination and assimilation. * Develop new technical specifications, standards, procedures, templates, and tools for your discipline, and maintain them updated and accessible to other area/division members. * Ensure application of the Supply Chain process management methodology throughout the lifecycle of projects and/or products in which you participate. * Promote technical dialogue with suppliers of equipment and materials affecting the project. **What We Expect From You:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience performing the described functions in the industrial sector. * Experience managing procurement processes, negotiating contract clauses, price negotiations, etc. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems, production, planning, and procurement. * Advanced English proficiency. **What We Offer You:** These are some of the benefits you’ll enjoy at SENER: * Opportunity to participate in innovative, high-technology international projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team. * Enhanced time management through our flexible working hours and remote work policies. * Salary optimization via our flexible compensation plan (meal card, private health insurance, childcare vouchers, etc.), plus life and accident insurance. * Comprehensive physical and emotional wellbeing program, including sports, workshops, etc. * Professional development support—including technical training, soft skills, language courses, etc.—to help you continue growing and achieving your goals. * Commitment to equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion; certified as a Family-Friendly Employer (EFRE).
