Practical and operational role with customer service focus 2. Prepares vehicles and assists customers throughout their journey 3. Professional growth opportunities and dynamic work environment **ABOUT US** Indie Campers is the global leader in road trip travel, operating one of the world’s largest fleets of campervans and motorhomes. We offer thousands of customers the freedom to explore new destinations in fully equipped vehicles, combining excellent customer service with operational excellence. Our frontline teams are essential to ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless experience and every vehicle is clean, safe, well-prepared, and ready to hit the road. **THE ROLE** The Operations Agent is a hands-on, operational position that combines rental customer service, vehicle preparation, fleet cleaning, and basic sales support. You will support the entire customer journey — from preparing and cleaning campervans before departure, to conducting check\-ins and check\-outs, assisting customers during their rental, and supporting motorhome demonstrations when required. This role is ideal for a practical, customer-oriented, detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic depot environment. **WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?** **Customer Service & Rental Operations:** Conduct check\-ins and check\-outs, provide vehicle explanations, assist customers during their rental experience, and professionally and empathetically manage service recovery situations or emergencies. **Fleet Cleaning & Vehicle Preparation:** Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors; prepare campervans with kits, bedding, essentials, and optional extras; ensure each vehicle meets Indie Campers’ quality, hygiene, and presentation standards. **Post-Rental Inspection & Reporting:** Inspect returned vehicles for cleanliness, missing items, damages, or operational issues, and report findings for follow-up. **Sales Demonstrations & Customer Interaction:** Support motorhome demonstrations by presenting vehicle features, systems, and specifications, helping customers understand the product and facilitating smooth handovers. **Sales Conversion & Lead Support:** Identify potential sales opportunities, support lead follow-up where relevant, and assist the RV Sales team with customer information and documentation. **Stock, Consumables & Depot Organization:** Manage cleaning products, kits, consumables, and equipment; report shortages or damages; help maintain an organized and operationally ready depot. **Basic Product & Technical Support:** Explain basic vehicle systems — such as lighting, gas, water, and other motorhome functionalities — resolve simple issues, and escalate when necessary. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** **Essential Requirements:** * Experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, rentals, cleaning, housekeeping, warehousing, automotive, or operations. * Strong communication and customer interaction skills. * High attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, quality, and presentation standards. * Practical, reliable, punctual, and solution-oriented mindset. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment. * Ability to understand and explain basic vehicle or motorhome systems. * Organized and proactive approach to managing customers, tasks, and operational priorities. * Valid driver’s license, Category B. * Advanced level of English. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with CRM tools, rental systems, or digital sales software. * Proficiency in the local language (e.g., Spanish), where applicable. * Prior experience in campervan/motorhome, automotive, tourism, or mobility environments. **PHYSICAL & OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS** This role requires physical activity and flexibility within a depot environment. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stretch, and move around the depot for extended periods, as well as work inside vehicles and outdoors in varying weather conditions. You must feel comfortable lifting and carrying light to moderate items up to 15 kg, including kits, cleaning equipment, consumables, hoses, and supplies. You will also safely use cleaning products and chemicals, following company safety guidelines and training. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, peak-season shifts, and urgent operational needs — such as last-minute preparations, additional cleaning tasks, or high-volume customer periods — is required. You must also feel comfortable interacting with customers in varied emotional states — including excited, stressed, or confused customers — always maintaining calmness, empathy, and professionalism. **THE INDIE COMMITMENT** * Competitive compensation and commission opportunities. * Travel benefits and access to the Indie Campers rental fleet. * Training in customer service, sales, cleaning standards, product knowledge, motorhome systems, and operational excellence. * Professional growth across Rental, Sales, Operations, Service, or other depot-based roles. * A dynamic, multicultural work environment with a strong team spirit. **Are you ready to Go Indie?**
