Job Summary: We are seeking a home care assistant to provide support with daily tasks, personal hygiene, and companionship to users in their homes. Key Highlights: 1. Direct assistance at home and support with personal care. 2. Performing household tasks and social companionship. 3. Full-time position with flexible hours from Monday to Saturday. We are looking for a person to provide home care support in the Tamaraceite area, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A qualification is required: Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Home or Social Institutions; Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle in Nursing Assistant or Socio-Healthcare Technician; or Technician in Care for Dependent Persons. At least one year of prior experience in similar positions is desirable, as well as basic knowledge of occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental matters. Main responsibilities include direct assistance to users in their homes, following established guidelines. This includes help and supervision with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, footwear, and feeding. Household maintenance activities will also be carried out, such as meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and ironing. Assistance will be provided for transportation, mobility, postural changes, and leisure activities at home. Accompaniment outside the home for walks or medical appointments will also be offered. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours from Monday to Saturday between 7:00 and 18:00, according to the schedule. A temporary contract is offered.
