Job Summary: Tragsa is seeking a Technical Engineer or Engineer to support the development of Natural Trails in the Community of Madrid, including drafting, supervision, and technical support for projects. Collaboration in team training and knowledge transfer **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in works related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to hire 1 Technical Engineer or Engineer to provide support for Natural Trails in the Community of Madrid. **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid National travel across the entire territory for 50% of the time **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Drafting and supervision of Natural Trails, forest roads, and/or forest tracks projects. * Preparation of construction progress reports, valued proposals, and/or re-pricing documents for Natural Trails, forest roads, and/or forest tracks. * Creation of GIS mapping. * General technical review of projects prior to submission. Identification of errors and provision of suggestions and/or technical alternatives for improvement and correction. * General technical-administrative review of documentation generated during the pre-construction and construction execution phases. * Drafting of technical specifications for various tender procedures. * Support and/or management of structural tenders, signage tenders, or other related areas. * Support and collaboration with internal and external site managers. * Liaison with suppliers and collaborators. Processing of licenses and other permits. * Apply specific knowledge from education/experience to perform technical activities. Prepare reports on performed activities. * Transfer knowledge and experience gained through activity execution, supporting the training of other team members. * Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and client requirements. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements must be substantiated by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the process): * Official academic degree certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment history record and/or employment contract verifying and certifying the required professional experience. * Academic internship annexes verifying and certifying the required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a degree in Technical Engineering in Public Works / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Technical Engineering in Forestry / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment (MECES Level 2); or Civil Engineering (Highway, Canal and Port Engineering) / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Technical Engineering in Public Works + Official Master’s Degree in Highway, Canal and Port Engineering or Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment / Technical Engineering in Forestry + Official Master’s Degree in Forestry Engineering (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Class B driving license * Availability to travel nationwide for 50% of the time **Merit-Based Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * From 1 year to 6 years of administrative experience in state construction contracting (professional experience) * From 1 year to 6 years of experience working for public administration (professional experience) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (to be verified during technical interview) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Presto (to be verified during technical interview) * Knowledge of technical characteristics and behavior of wood (to be verified during technical interview) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and/or QGIS (to be verified during technical interview) **Observations** ----------------- * Offered: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 12 months, if applicable.
