Building and evolving a data platform with technical autonomy Data Engineer We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a strategic project within a modern cloud environment, with a focus on the client's data ecosystem and the evolution of their data platform. The role targets professionals with data engineering experience, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines on modern cloud architectures. The position requires strong technical proficiency in Azure—especially services such as Databricks and distributed processing with Spark—as well as optimization of data processes and management of large-scale data volumes. The professional will participate in building and evolving the data platform, collaborating on integrations, deployments, and data governance, within an environment that combines technical autonomy with teamwork and sound development practices. **REQUIREMENTS:** Experience as a Data Engineer in developing, deploying, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Solid knowledge of the Azure ecosystem (especially Azure Databricks) Experience with Apache Spark (job and cluster optimization) Knowledge of medallion architecture Strong data modeling skills Programming experience with Python and PySpark Advanced SQL proficiency **Knowledge of development best practices:** version control, CI/CD, and documentation Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively A technically mature profile with quality orientation and the ability to contribute to technical decisions within the team will be highly valued.
