




Job Summary: Support the Finance Director in implementing internal controls, cost analysis, and inventory management, contributing to optimization and expense reduction. Key Highlights: 1. Work Location Vallès Occidental Mission Support the Finance Director across various areas, including implementation and development of internal controls—particularly those linked to expenditure and manufacturing cycles. Also involves conducting recurring analyses to help reduce costs and optimize inventory levels. Reports To Finance Director. Responsibilities and Duties Business Analysis Prepare monthly gross margin analysis by customer. Promote, measure, and prepare reports on cost-saving initiatives. Maintain and further develop production analyses initiated with the manufacturing cost absorption study. Analyze inventory and assist in its reduction (reviewing turnover and minimum levels according to requirements), balancing customer satisfaction with working capital. Help implement reports that prevent inventory obsolescence or facilitate disposal of obsolete items (sale, return to supplier, or, as a last resort, scrapping). Support implementation of transportation cost recovery analysis per order/customer. Internal Control and Monthly Closing Tasks Implement, document, and monitor minimum control standards and internal procedures. Reconcile sales and cost of sales. Prepare the inventory and fixed assets section of the monthly control file. Review other sections of the control file. Review and support preparation of capital expenditures (CAPEX). Coordinate annual fixed asset inventory and maintain updated corresponding register. Review purchase price variances (PPV) and maintain updated standard costs for both manufactured and purchased items, including their annual (or more frequent, if required) review and recalculation. Review and supervise procurement of raw materials and finished goods, challenging price increases (or similar) and participating in identifying alternative suppliers where appropriate. Review and approve invoices and purchase orders in accordance with the authority matrix. Review credit notes and verify proper authorization. Manage plastic tax and support other tax-related matters. Education Vocational Training Cycle II (FPII) in Administration and Finance, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Business Studies, or equivalent. Experience with D365 (Dynamics 365) or Navision is considered a plus. Expert-level Excel proficiency. Languages Native Spanish, intermediate English.
