Continuous Production Operator

Description

The professional will join the production team at an industrial plant, assuming key responsibilities on continuous manufacturing lines. Their primary duties will involve operating and supervising extrusion and plastic material transformation processes, ensuring a consistent production flow. This includes regular supply of raw materials, meticulous control of process parameters, and verification of proper product finishing—guaranteeing compliance with strict quality and safety standards. Additionally, they will handle final stages of the production chain, such as careful material handling, packaging, and preparation for subsequent distribution—all while maintaining an orderly and clean working environment. This position demands high adaptability and responsibility, requiring work in a dynamic environment where precision and adherence to protocols are fundamental. The operator will be an essential link in maintaining line efficiency, directly contributing to production targets and end-customer satisfaction. Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety, as well as the ability to coordinate effectively with the rest of the team, are highly valued. This role offers comprehensive experience within a regulated industrial setting, providing practical knowledge of continuous manufacturing processes and quality control. Performance in this position enables development of solid technical competencies and deep understanding of internal logistics in large-scale production plants. Initial contract of approximately 3 months, with a high likelihood of extension and continuation. Compensation is based on the continuous shift rate, including applicable allowances from day one. Work schedule follows a 6x3 roster with rotating morning (05:20–13:20) and afternoon (13:20–21:20) shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with potential future inclusion of night shifts. A Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio) and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial or production environments are required. Familiarity with regulated environments governed by standards such as GMP or ICH is essential, demonstrating responsibility and commitment. Full availability for rotating shifts—including weekends and public holidays—is mandatory.
