Due to increased activity, we are seeking a **Digitalization Engineer**, based in **Parets del Vallès, Barcelona**. As part of the **Digitalization Team**, you will be responsible for: * Executing industrial digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives across production, engineering, quality and support functions. * Implementing and providing technical support for digital manufacturing solutions (MES, traceability, digital workflows, automatic data capture). * Ensuring data integration across industrial systems, guaranteeing consistency, traceability and operational data availability. * Supporting NPI process digitalization, ensuring new products and processes incorporate digital validations, traceability and available data from launch. * Implementing and maintaining digital dashboards and KPIs for operational and quality performance monitoring. * Supporting operational digitalization of the QMS, ensuring digital tools support recordkeeping, evidence collection, audits and regulatory compliance at execution level. * Executing light automation and digital improvements to reduce manual tasks, operational errors and rework. * Collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, NPI, Maintenance and IT to ensure correct adoption of digital solutions. * Training and supporting end users on deployed digital tools. **Experience, Knowledge and Skills** * Engineering degree (Industrial, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems or similar). * Experience in industrial process digitalization and manufacturing environments. * Practical knowledge of Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing / M4.0. * Experience with production, quality or traceability systems (MES or equivalent solutions). * Understanding of production processes and plant operations. * Analytical capability to work with industrial data and operational KPIs. * Ability to work in a structured, practical and execution-oriented manner. * Strong technical communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. **Desirable:** * Experience with Power BI, SQL, industrial dashboards or analytics tools. * Knowledge of light automation, industrial IoT or machine-system integration. * Participation in digital transformation or smart factory projects. * Experience in regulated industrial environments (ISO, IATF or other standards). * Knowledge of digitalization applied to NPI and quality. * Prior experience collaborating with IT or industrial software development teams. * Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing applied to digitalization (data-driven improvement). **What We Offer:** * Flexible compensation (meal vouchers and social benefits including childcare, training, etc.) * Life insurance * Partially subsidized health insurance * Various work-life balance services * Savings club Thales is an equal opportunity employer.
