Assembly Operator

Description

The position involves the complete assembly and installation of furniture and interior structures for train bathrooms. This includes carpentry adjustment tasks, basic machining of wooden parts, and application of finishing techniques typical of cabinetmaking. The worker will routinely use a wide range of workshop tools, such as saws, miter saws, screwdrivers, jigsaws, sanders, and various hand tools. A fundamental part of the job is the ability to read and interpret mechanical and assembly drawings specific to carpentry, ensuring each component is integrated correctly according to design specifications. In addition, thorough visual inspection and fine-tuning of finishes on all assembled structures are required to guarantee maximum quality and compliance with established standards. The work environment is a specialized workshop where precision and attention to detail are paramount. Production focuses on components for the railway sector, demanding a high degree of reliability and durability in all final products. The workflow follows an orderly process, from component preparation through final assembly to quality inspection. Working hours are intensive in the morning, from 07:00 to 15:00. There is potential for job stability through direct hiring by the company after an initial period. Work takes place in a workshop environment with all necessary tools and materials provided for task execution. A stable environment focused on specialized production for the transportation sector is offered. Previous experience in areas such as cabinetmaking, woodworking carpentry, furniture assembly, exhibition stand construction, or nautical/aeronautical carpentry is valued. Practical proficiency in using cutting, fastening, and adjustment tools for furniture is essential. Candidates must possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and demonstrate high precision in visual finishes. Residency in Sabadell or its surrounding areas is required, along with possession of a personal vehicle or other means of transport to reliably access the workplace.
