Then this Freight Forwarder position is tailor-made for you! **What will you do?** --------------- At Ewals Cargo Care, you will develop transport solutions for urgent and standard shipments from our demanding Spanish customers. As a Freight Forwarder within our Freight Forwarding department in Barcelona, you will be responsible for planning, optimizing, and coordinating critical transports and shipments on time. You will consider commercial aspects, interact with carriers, and ensure each shipment proceeds smoothly—and preferably exceeds customer expectations. All this within a dynamic environment offering great autonomy and responsibility. ### **How will you do it?** * You plan in our systems, monitor order progress, and make adjustments as needed. * You continuously optimize capacity by intelligently combining loads and identifying available carriers in the market. * You maintain up-to-date market knowledge: closely tracking trends and price developments, and serving as the point of contact—for example, for the Sales Department when advice on rates or market conditions is required. * You act as a liaison between customers, carriers, and internal departments—managing, resolving, and improving processes. You will achieve this through: * Buying and selling freight loads and establishing competitive rates based on market developments; * Issuing transport orders, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as necessary; * Consolidating shipments and optimizing appropriate capacity; * Actively developing and maintaining a reliable network of carriers; * Supporting the Sales Department with advice on purchase rates and market developments. ### **What matters to us: what you gain** Working at Ewals Cargo Care means becoming part of a solid family-owned company with a strong international presence.
