A retail DIY company in Gavà is seeking 2 part-time Sales Associates. TASKS: customer service and advisory support, sales, identifying customer needs, product information, stock replenishment, inventory management, stock control, and use of POS systems, barcode scanners, and PDAs. REQUIREMENTS: Intermediate Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio) is mandatory. Advanced Spanish and intermediate Catalan. English proficiency and prior similar experience are advantageous. Candidates must be proactive, dynamic, flexible with working hours, capable of teamwork, and possess strong communication skills. OFFERS: permanent contract, part-time schedule (30 hours/week), rotating shifts Monday to Saturday (8\-15 h or 15\-21:30 h). Gross monthly salary: €935 (14 payments, 30 hours/week). Prior experience in a similar role — preferably in sales, customer service, or retail commerce — especially within the DIY, home improvement, or commercial distribution sectors, will be valued. Proactivity, customer orientation, communication and sales skills, teamwork, flexibility in working hours, dynamism, adaptability, and basic computer skills for sales purposes. * INTERMEDIATE VOCATIONAL TRAINING (FP GRADO MEDIO) QUALIFICATION * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * English (spoken: beginner, written: beginner) * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle (CFGM) is mandatory.
