Job Summary: We are seeking an expert in CAPI system programming and management to develop and maintain questionnaires, resolve technical issues, and supervise proper system functionality. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in CAPI system programming (SurveyCTO or similar) 2. Implementation of validations, logical skips, and consistency checks 3. Ongoing technical support to coordination teams and surveyor teams **Main Responsibilities** * Design, programming, and maintenance of the CAPI questionnaire * Configuration of the survey management application and data structure * Implementation of validations, logical skips, and consistency checks * Management of technical incidents, errors, and system updates * Adaptation of the system to methodological or operational changes * Development of real-time supervision and monitoring tools * Ensuring correct functionality during fieldwork * Ongoing technical support to coordination teams and surveyor teams * Coding of open-ended responses and development of a quality-controlled codebook **Technical Requirements** * Experience in programming and configuring CAPI systems (SurveyCTO or similar) * Specific training: Advanced SurveyCTO for Data Collection and Mapping (mandatory requirement) * Knowledge of databases and ETL workflows * Ability to automate data collection and validation processes * Experience managing real-time technical incidents * Integration of digital communication and operational control tools * Ability to optimize systems for intensive fieldwork **Competencies** * Rigor and attention to detail * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills * Proactivity and anticipation of incidents * Autonomy in managing critical systems * Ability to work under pressure **Key Responsibility** The selected candidate will be responsible for building and managing the SurveyCTO application, including questionnaire implementation, incident resolution, incorporation of improvements, and supervision of correct system functionality throughout the project. **Conditions** * Temporary project (May – September) * Approximate total commitment of 30 days, distributed as 7 days per month worked * Freelance collaboration (preferred) * Work location: Barcelona city * Flexible working hours * Required languages: Catalan and Spanish * Immediate start Employment type: Part-time, Freelancer Contract duration: 4 months Application questions: * What is your desired hourly net salary? * Are you currently self-employed? * Do you have availability to work in Barcelona city? * Do you have specific knowledge of the SurveyCTO platform? * Do you have prior experience conducting fieldwork using CAPI systems? * How long would you estimate to develop a 25–30-question survey (approximately 7 minutes duration) in 3 languages—with translations already available—including programming, implementation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and final adjustments prior to fieldwork?
