Mechatronics Field Service Technician INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY | PERMANENT CONTRACT Company: RECAM XAPA, S.L. — Worksite: Caldes de Montbui Permanent Contract — Full-Time Schedule About RECAM XAPA RECAM XAPA is a company specialized in the commercialization, installation, maintenance, and technical support of industrial machinery for the metalworking sector, including laser cutting machines, press brakes, automation systems, and other technological solutions. To strengthen our Technical Support Service, we are seeking to hire a Mechatronics Field Service Technician or Electromechanical Technician with availability to travel across Spain. Main Responsibilities \- Installation, commissioning, and adjustment of industrial machinery at our customers’ facilities. \- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance. \- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. \- Interpreting technical drawings, electrical schematics, and documentation. \- Replacing, repairing, and adjusting components. \- Preparing technical reports on interventions carried out. \- Providing basic advisory services and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance. \- Coordinating with manufacturers, suppliers, and RECAM XAPA’s technical and sales teams. RECAM XAPA, S.L. \- Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona) Page 1 JOB OFFERING Required Profile \- Vocational training (intermediate or advanced level) in Industrial Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or related disciplines. \- Experience in maintenance, installation, or repair of industrial machinery will be valued; however, applicants with less experience but strong development potential will also be considered. \- Knowledge of industrial mechanics and electricity. \- Sufficient technical English to interpret manuals, schematics, technical documentation, and communicate with manufacturers. \- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly throughout Spain. \- Basic computer skills. \- Ability to systematically diagnose failures and resolve incidents. \- Customer orientation, responsibility, autonomy, and willingness to learn. Especially Valued \- Prior experience as a Field Service Technician or Industrial Maintenance Technician. \- Familiarity with CNC machinery, laser cutting equipment, press brakes, or industrial automation systems. \- Knowledge of PLCs, frequency inverters, servo motors, and control systems. \- Experience in commissioning and on-site technical support at customer facilities. \- English proficiency above the minimum required level.
