Job Summary: We are seeking a Global IT Operations Expert to administer, continuously develop, and provide global support for the Google Cloud environment and cybersecurity solution. Ferrum Management Services AG provides services to the Ferrum Group (Ferrum Packaging AG and Ferrum Process Systems AG) in the areas of IT, Finance, and HR. **Global IT Operations Expert (m/f/d)** As the central operational expert in this field, you are responsible for administering, continuously developing, and delivering global support for the company-wide Google Cloud environment and cybersecurity solution. **Your Responsibilities** * Central responsibility for IT operations, configuration, and continuous development of the entire Google Workspace environment (governance, security, feature rollout) across the group (DE, PL, CH, and future smaller sales subsidiaries worldwide) * Management of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, including support for cloud-based services used and ensuring smooth global operations. Ability to identify opportunities for projects to migrate to Google Cloud * Coordination of technical deployment of assigned IT services (GW, GCP, Cybersecurity) to newly onboarded smaller sales subsidiaries worldwide * Driving initiatives to transform local (on\-prem) environments to the Google Cloud environment * Operational responsibility for protecting and ensuring availability of our data and systems, particularly in the area of Cybersecurity * Operational administration, configuration, and monitoring of security products (e.g., firewalls, endpoint protection) across all locations * Conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation of security incidents within the scope of cybersecurity systems * Managing, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise-wide backup strategies across all relevant Group systems * Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards in the operational business of assigned systems * Acting as the operational interface to the business as the subject-matter technical expert for Google Workspace, GCP, and Cybersecurity topics **Your Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification * Extensive experience with Google Cloud architecture * Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented work style * Communicative, team-oriented, and capable of working independently * High quality awareness and service orientation * Availability to coordinate global initiatives and undertake occasional business travel * Fluent English is required due to the global environment; German language skills are a plus **What We Offer** * Interesting and varied tasks offering room for autonomy * An internationally operating family-owned company that places great importance on an open corporate culture, flat hierarchies, and a strong team spirit * Option to work remotely * Find more details here: Ferrum as an employer Join the Ferrum family and submit your application documents to Nicole Furrer (HR Business Partner).
