We are looking for a speech therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at a center specialized in care for elderly people with mild or moderate cognitive decline. Responsibilities: Initial assessment of users' communicative and swallowing abilities. Design and implementation of language, speech, and functional communication rehabilitation programs. Intervention in swallowing disorders (dysphagia): consultation, texture modification, and individualized follow-up. Monitoring and preparation of user progress reports. Participation in the development and review of the Individualized Care Plan (ICP). Profile of the target group: Elderly individuals with mild or moderate cognitive decline, experiencing impairments in language, communication, or swallowing functions due to neurodegenerative diseases or aging. Requirements: Experience in geriatric or neurological speech therapy, especially with individuals with dementia. Training or knowledge in Person-Centered Care (PCC). Residence near Badalona or Sabadell, or willingness to travel there.
