### **Job Information** Date Opened **07/01/2026**Job Type **Permanent**Industry **Technology**Work Experience **4\-5 years**City **Palma de Mallorca**State/Province **Balears (Baleares)**Country **Spain**Zip/Postal Code **07001**### **Job Description** At **ALOVIA Consulting**, we are seeking a **Data Engineer**. **Modality:** Hybrid (2 days on-site) **Location:** Palma de Mallorca **Responsibilities:*** **Design, develop, implement, and deliver data-based applications** and solutions to support the company's needs * Creation of **ETL and ELT processes** * Review and resolution of incidents arising from ingestion processes. * Experience in development with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization. * Proactively identify new data sources that add value within the analytical ecosystem. * Promote **Data Literacy** across the organization. * Work with existing data to develop reports and dashboards in **Microsoft Power BI**, tailored and focused for each business area. * Provide a direct query environment (self-service analytics) enabling key business users to directly access information for decision-making. ### **Requirements** * Minimum **4 years of experience in a similar role.** * **Intermediate level of English.** * Experience in analytical environments: **Big Data and Traditional Business Intelligence** * Experience using ETL/ELT tools. * Experience in data modeling for analytical solutions. * Proficiency in **SQL** * Analytical ability * Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. * **Experience with Azure (especially Databricks, Data Factory)** * **Experience with Azure Cloud (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps …)**
