Warehouse Operator in Marcilla We are seeking a Warehouse Operator for our production plant located in Marcilla. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the role involves performing warehouse management activities, ensuring order dispatch, material loading, unloading and receiving, as well as organizing storage and distribution. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Unloading supplies: Unload supplies (raw materials or auxiliary materials) and place them in their designated locations within the warehouse. * Storing finished products: Collect pallets of finished and baled products and position them in their designated locations within the warehouse. * Maintain order, cleanliness and hygiene of facilities (housekeeping). Always ensure excellent waste management. * Ensure quality of proper palletizing and baling, and correct any defects that may arise during transportation of goods via forklift or during storage in the warehouse. * Optimize use of resources assigned to the position. * Compliance with regulations: Adhere to quality, food safety, environmental, order and cleanliness standards and procedures. Likewise, comply with occupational health and safety regulations related to the position. Carry out all actions required to meet Food Defense requirements applicable to the scope of work. * Maintain traceability when handling production peaks, guaranteeing their use in subsequent manufacturing processes and enabling full pallet completion. Complete corresponding documentation (e.g., expiry dates) and assign appropriate warehouse locations. * Load trucks according to FIFO (expiry dates), following instructions issued by the Warehouse Manager, ensuring shipment meets estimated delivery deadlines. * + Read EAN labels on pallets prior to loading, ensuring system data is updated. + Verify pallet baling process. + Load trucks with products/pallets comprising orders, confirming that items loaded match the orders to be shipped. + Perform supply unloading: Unload supplies (raw materials or auxiliary materials) and place them in their designated locations within the warehouse. + Collect and transport samples produced by the Quality department and store them in the sample library or corresponding warehouse. + Assist in stock counts. + Support and train staff: Train and support newly hired personnel or interns within the department. + Continuous improvement: Propose improvements regarding efficiency in storing finished products or raw materials, as well as in vehicle loading and unloading. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education: - High school diploma / Vocational Training Program (Intermediate or Advanced Level). - Minimum one year of experience in a similar position. Desired technical knowledge: - Food handling. - HACCP training. - Food safety. - Environmental good practices training. - IT applications relevant to the area of responsibility. - Operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
