We are now seeking a Software Developer (.NET) to join our Data Analytics Team. We're looking for a candidate who has \+3 years experience in .Net software development. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------------ * Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using the .NET framework, tailored to meet the specific needs of our company and clients * Build intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing web applications in Blazor. * Integrate Azure Services into applications for seamless cloud\-based functionalities, including but not limited to KeyVault, SQL Server, AppServices, Application Insights, and more. * Utilize GitHub for version control, managing repositories, and facilitating effective collaboration through pull requests and code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. * Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring high quality and rapid delivery of software solutions. * Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including schema design, querying, and performance tuning, to support data\-driven applications. * Collaborate closely with cross\-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze them, and translate them into technical specifications for software development. * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into development processes where applicable to drive innovation. * Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure the smooth operation of software applications. * Document technical designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement. * Work with engineers, operations, and management to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and develop data governance strategies. **PERSON SPECIFICATION** ------------------------ **Qualifications required** Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent vocational qualification in Programming **Experience required** * 3\+ years of professional experience in .NET web development, including Blazor. * Strong understanding of clean architecture and modern software engineering best practices. * Experience with Azure cloud services integration. * Proficiency in SQL Server database design and optimization. * Experience with version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines. * Proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit\-learn, TensorFlow). * Familiarity with REST APIs and data transfer protocols (REST, MQTT, OPC UA). * Excellent problem\-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English). *Plastic Energy embrace diversity in all its forms and are an equal opportunity employer.
