Do you already have some experience in IT? Does solving puzzles energize you? Do you enjoy acting as a liaison between different parties? And do you want to fully immerse yourself in our software? Then we are looking for you! **WHO ARE WE?** Decos contributes to a world where we harness the power of technology to create a positive impact. Every day, we seek new, innovative solutions that help our customers make their world a better place. Through these digital innovations, we make a difference and have a positive global impact. Decos comprises several entities and locations, each with its own specialization. We view curiosity as the driving force behind innovation—as something that truly moves us forward. At Decos, we don’t stop until we’ve realized the best solution; we believe perseverance pays off. To achieve this, we grant you freedom and responsibility: we provide opportunities, offer space to develop, and support your continued growth—we are the enablers. Our curiosity has led us to look beyond the borders of the Netherlands for talent. We therefore gladly offer Dutch nationals residing in Spain the opportunity to work remotely for us. This works for us because we believe in freedom and responsibility. As long as we collaborate toward shared goals, we give you the freedom to decide where and how you contribute. This means that as a Dutch national living in Spain, you also have the opportunity to work remotely for us. **WE ARE LOOKING FOR…** …a Customer Support Consultant who—alongside a team of professionals—serves as the expert trusted by numerous government organizations and other institutions. With your knowledge of our solutions, you support and advise customers daily to help them get the most out of our systems and resolve issues they encounter. You won’t solve problems by simply asking whether they’ve tried restarting the system—you need strong analytical skills to identify the root cause. Of course, it may happen that the puzzle becomes too complex for you! No problem—you’ll internally engage Technical Consultants and Developers to jointly determine how to resolve the issue. In the meantime, you’ll keep the customer informed about the status to avoid any confusion. In addition to troubleshooting diverse functional and technical issues faced by customers, you proactively advise our clients. You’re uniquely aware of what’s happening within the organization: when is a software release scheduled, and which common bugs are currently affecting optimal use of our software? You proactively translate this information for customers so they remain fully informed about all current developments. Every day, your goal is to ensure satisfied customers. Your focus isn’t solely outward-facing—you also consistently apply critical thinking internally. You continuously seek improvements so that our own processes become slightly better every day! **A DAY IN THE (HOME) OFFICE** Your day begins by checking Freshdesk—you review incoming tickets and schedule those for the coming day. This way, you know exactly what you’ll be working on and which customers you’ll speak with. Additionally, you gather tickets containing issues you’re currently encountering. At 10 a.m., you join your daily one-hour meeting with Developers and Technical Consultants—you aim to leverage their expertise as effectively as possible so you can ultimately deliver outstanding support to customers. After this call, you immediately apply the new insights you’ve gained, expecting now to be able to resolve the ticket. After lunch, you have a 1 p.m. appointment with a customer to examine the issue. You observe the user’s environment together to determine how to resolve the issue. Prior to this meeting, you attempt to reproduce the issue and, if needed, consult a Technical Consultant to enter the customer meeting fully prepared. Following this appointment, you hold a 1:1 session with your Product Owner—you review your goals and assess your progress. You also discuss your desired development path: do you wish to deepen your technical expertise, or focus more on the functional side? Later in the afternoon, you have another appointment with a different customer. During this meeting, you’ll update the customer’s environment. The end of the day arrives, and you begin preparing for tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, you’re scheduled for the biweekly phone duty—you prepare for calls you may receive from experienced application administrators. You ensure your schedule isn’t overloaded, since you must remain available to assist application administrators experiencing difficulties with our software—these issues must be resolved as quickly as possible! **SKILLS \& REQUIREMENTS** * Completed HBO/WO degree; * You already have some experience in an IT role and are ready for your next step; * Excellent communication skills to best support our customers; * Quickly switching contexts poses no challenge for you; * Strong command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written; * Strong command of the English language; * You are available for at least 32 hours per week; * Resident in Spain and in possession of an NIE number. **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?** We offer you the opportunity to work from Spain for a Dutch organization where you’ll have ample room to grow. To support this, we allocate an annual training budget and provide guidance to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Of course, a laptop is provided, and we jointly assess how to set up a responsible, comfortable home workspace. We also offer a bonus scheme. **WHEN: NOW!** Are you the driven, curious candidate who challenges themselves to support customers as effectively as possible? Do you want to work for a Dutch organization? Do you enjoy collaborating with customers to help them overcome challenges? Then apply via the button above and tell us why you’d be a valuable addition to Decos. Perhaps you’ll soon strengthen our team and take a digital dive into our pink ball pit.
