Production Manager

**Job Description:** Our company, a leader in the manufacturing of bakery and pastry products, is seeking an experienced Production Manager with industrial environment experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with experience managing production processes in the food industry, responsible for ensuring the proper manufacturing of our products such as picos, regañas, sponge cakes, Minimagdalenas, etc., optimizing resources and production processes, overseeing operational efficiency, supervising and leading work teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. **Location** · Workplace: Cañada Rosal (Seville). · On-site position. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and coordinate all production processes and operations in the bakery and pastry plant. * Manage and optimize available human, material, and technical resources to maximize production efficiency. * Collaborate in meeting food safety and quality standards throughout all stages of the production process, and contribute to improving product formulations. * Ensure adherence to production planning by adjusting resources and timelines according to demand. * Plan and optimize work shifts and personnel distribution on the production line. * Supervise the proper handling of products and raw materials, following hygiene and food safety regulations and meeting quality standards. * Monitor dough preparation, shaping, baking, and packaging processes, ensuring consistency and final product quality. * Lead, motivate, and train the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. * Prepare production reports, analyzing performance and proposing process improvements, as well as implementing and monitoring key performance indicators. * Evaluate and propose enhancements to automation and process control systems to increase production efficiency. * Implement and improve operational procedures to increase productivity and reduce waste. * Supervise and optimize the use of raw materials, flours, and additives, controlling inventory and minimizing losses. **Education Requirements:** · Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization Engineering, or Food Science and Technology. · A Master’s degree in Production Management, Operations Management, or Food Technology and Industry is desirable. **Professional Experience:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management roles within the industrial food sector, preferably in baking or food production. **Technical Knowledge:** * Technical knowledge in industrial engineering, food production, or related fields. * Familiarity with food safety and quality regulations. * Understanding of dough manufacturing processes, flour behavior, fermentation control, baking in bakery products, and product packaging. * Experience managing automated production lines. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and team management. * Process optimization using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma methodologies. * Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Sage, and production management systems. **Skills and Competencies:** · Ability to manage teams and make decisions. · Analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proactive, organized, and results-oriented attitude. · Leadership and team management capabilities. · Focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. · Analytical thinking and goal orientation. · Proactivity and strong problem-solving abilities. · Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments. · Effective communication and coordination skills. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary aligned with experience. * Permanent contract after probation period. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * Job stability in a dynamic and collaborative environment. * Full-time position with flexible working hours. * Performance-based benefits. * Work in an environment committed to equality. * Work in a sustainability-certified company.
