Job Summary: We are seeking a sociocultural animator to design, implement, and supervise community intervention projects at a senior center, promoting personal and social autonomy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and supervision of community intervention projects 2. Group facilitation and promotion of autonomy among seniors 3. Observation and identification of users’ needs We are looking for a person to carry out sociocultural animation activities at a senior center. Main tasks will include designing, launching, supervising, and analyzing community intervention projects. The candidate will also facilitate groups and collectives, promoting residents’ personal and social autonomy through recreational-educational activities. It will be essential to observe and identify the needs and characteristics of the groups and individuals under their care. For this position, candidates must hold a qualification enabling professional practice, such as a Higher Technician in Sociocultural and Tourism Animation (TASOC), or studies in Social Education, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy, among others. Previous experience in similar positions will be valued. Additionally, holding a valid driver’s license and having access to a personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace will be considered an advantage. The offer includes a four-month temporary contract, with a part-time schedule of four hours per day, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Salary and other conditions will comply with the Collective Agreement for Day Centers and Geriatric Residences of the Principality of Asturias.
