A Release Operator plays a crucial role in managing the software release process, ensuring that product launches occur on time and adhere to quality standards. This position involves executing release runbooks, performing validation steps, and facilitating coordination among various teams. The Release Operator is also tasked with tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving conflicts to guarantee successful product releases. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in process execution and a solid understanding of project management principles. Strong problem\-solving skills are essential, along with a comprehensive knowledge of software development cycles. Ultimately, the Release Operator's primary objective is to ensure that our software and applications are delivered to customers with the utmost quality and punctuality. **Responsibilities** * Run release verification and validation runbooks and processes * Facilitate communication with stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and engaged throughout the release process. Coordinate cross\-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases * Maintain clear documentation of release processes and procedures. Produce deployment run books and implementation plans * Handle any issues that arise during the release process, including engaging in the diagnosis of functional and performance issues based on the knowledge base * Capture release metrics and identify patterns for improving the release processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness * Coordinate the integration of changes, go/no\-go decisions for releases, and verify releases before deployment. Conduct release readiness and business go/no\-go processes * Identify and manage risks that may affect the release scope and schedule **Requirements** * Proven experience of over 3 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Release Operator, or in a similar role * Experience with QA OR Release management tools and practices * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) * Experience in testing.
