We are seeking Home Care Assistants to provide care and support to elderly and/or dependent individuals in their homes in the Mijas area (Málaga). The selected candidate will deliver close, professional care, promoting the well-being, autonomy, and quality of life of service users. FUNCTIONS: * **Personal Care and Hygiene**: Daily hygiene, clothing and diaper changes, assistance with dressing and undressing, and mobility support. * **Nutrition and Health**: Meal preparation or assistance with cooking, support during meals, and monitoring/administering medications as prescribed. * **Basic Household Tasks**: Home cleaning focused on daily-use areas (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom), laundry, ironing, and clothing maintenance. * **Accompaniment and Errands**: Accompanying individuals outside the home, taking walks, and purchasing food and essential items. * **Social and Emotional Support**: Companionship, active listening, and encouraging participation in social activities to prevent isolation. * **Cognitive Stimulation**. REQUIREMENTS: * Social-healthcare assistant certification * Prior experience in similar roles will be valued. * Responsibility, empathy, and organizational skills. * Availability to travel within the Mijas area. * Having a personal vehicle will be valued, depending on service needs.
