Description

Industrial manufacturing company of construction materials, urban furniture, and urban planning studies, located in Cardedeu, seeks to hire a Prescriptor for the Specification Department, reporting to the Operations Director. Mission and Responsibilities: • Analyze operational territories and assess regional potential. • Prepare technical specifications. • Provide technical support in specifying the company's products. • Support the company's sales network technically. • Work on projects, tracking and updating information in the organization's established system for projects and specifiers. • Organize the specification visit schedule and prepare monthly reports indicating visit effectiveness, follow-up actions, and results. • Inform local sales representatives/distributors about identified projects and provide support regarding project-related queries until awarding stage. • Assess and report on competitor presence, their products, and pricing policies. • Report visited areas and conducted visits, identified projects, and market impressions. • Propose a lecture calendar for universities, institutes, and technical schools within the operational territory for approval and subsequent implementation. • Organize and deliver technical training courses for sales staff, as well as accompany new specifiers. • Conduct periodic training on product novelties and differential value propositions versus competitors, at both corporate and new-product levels. • Evaluate market reception and impressions of new products and organizational catalogs. • Interact with various clients. • Consider sustainability aspects in specification activities. • Ensure proper and efficient departmental management. • Minimize printing and ensure effective waste management. Objective: • Increase brand presence and strengthen its position within the sector, while boosting promotion and direct specification of the company’s product lines to support commercial activity. * 3 years’ experience; experience in similar positions * Bachelor’s or Engineering Degree – Architecture * Associate Degree or Technical Engineering – Architecture * Associate Degree or Technical Engineering – Interior Design * Spanish (Advanced spoken and written) * Catalan (Advanced spoken and written) * Competencies / Knowledge: Specification Manager – Academic Background: Degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Interior Design. – Personal Qualities: Analytical mindset, ability to work in teams, strong communication skills, organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving capability, and proactivity. – Languages: Catalan, Spanish, and French (desirable) – Recommended age: 35–40 years Skills: • Familiarity with the company and its corporate image, including industrial and commercial culture • Knowledge and application of legal and technical regulations governing architecture, construction, and urban planning • Interpersonal relationship skills • Goal-oriented work and achievement focus • Organizational and planning skills • Analytical and persuasive capabilities • Sales and negotiation skills • Willingness to travel nationwide • Project management aptitude • Product knowledge • Time management * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary from '2900' to '3350' * Additional relevant information: Compensation and schedule: • 35,000–40,000€ gross/year + company car • Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 08:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:30; Friday, 08:00–14:00
