Special focus on improving your language skills. **Your day-to-day will sound like this…** Support and supervision: Ensure departmental objectives are met, as well as adherence to critical processes and presentation standards set by the hotel. Verify the quality of ingredients used in dish preparation. Collaborate with the Station Chef in placing necessary orders for each station, as well as assist in conducting the monthly inventory. Execution and monitoring: Plan preparations in advance to execute service as efficiently as possible. Prepare dishes following technical specifications while ensuring required quality and presentation standards. Assign, organize, and supervise tasks performed by Kitchen Assistants during dish preparation, resolving any doubts or issues that may arise. Set up, maintain, and dismantle buffet service. Clean, organize, and tidy your workstation once service has ended. Control and quality: Store and organize food items in refrigerated chambers and clean them to ensure proper hygiene and product preservation. Monitor correct usage of kitchen equipment, inspecting and reporting any issues immediately. Prepare lists of depleted products and report them to the Station Chef. **Requirements:** --------------- **You are the ideal candidate if…** Medium/Higher Degree in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy or equivalent. Food Handling Certificate. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a 5\* and luxury segment. Experience in Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels \& Resorts or similar is desirable. * Experience in fine dining restaurants will be valued.
