Join us in pursuing solutions to achieve a sustainable future. ACCIONA, through its Construction division, requires a Construction Technician to execute a new project at Mahón Airport. Main responsibilities include: * Monitor progress of works. * Measurements. * Monthly certifications. * Verify that works comply with drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Site Management. * Record and report technical incidents, changes, or deviations. * Coordinate subcontractors’ work together with Foremen. * Support preparation of drawings, sketches, simple setting-out surveys, and technical documentation. Job Description Mission: Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her unit/department, in keeping with the instructions given by his/her supervisor, performing the tasks delegated to him/her to meet the project’s needs. They are responsible for the performance of work contracts. They plan, optimise and supervise the usage of resources to ensure that the construction projects are carried out on time, with the prescribed specifications and cost. Their most common duties include: Managing contracts and procuring the required permits and licenses, drawing up budget estimates, planning and setting out the phases of construction, supervising the sub\-contractors’ tasks and the tasks of the subordinate staff or workers, verifying the progress achieved and the quality of the work during all phases of the project, representing the company in relevant matters, etc. Candidate Requirements* Technical education (Vocational Training, ongoing university studies, or equivalent experience). * Ability to work on-site. * Strong organisational skills. * Basic knowledge of reading drawings and measurements. * Intermediate proficiency in Excel and office tools. * Initiative and attention to detail. *We are a company that values diversity as a source of talent and therefore strive to foster an inclusive environment promoting respect, belonging, and commitment so that everyone can participate on equal terms.
