We are seeking a **Senior ITOPS Engineer** with over 5 years of experience to join our team and assume a key role in the operation, stability, and evolution of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Cloud (AWS)**, **automation (Terraform)**, **observability**, **containers**, and **ITIL4-based operational management**. This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of our core platforms, driving operational excellence through DevOps practices and advanced automation. **Key Responsibilities** **Operational Management and Support** * Full lifecycle management of **incidents, vulnerabilities, problems, and changes** under ITIL4. * Advanced technical support for cloud infrastructures and Linux systems. * Operational project and incident management via **Jira** and **Jira Operations** (Opsgenie). * Technical and process documentation in **Confluence**. **Cloud Computing (AWS)** * Expert administration of AWS services: **EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route53, CloudWatch**, among others. * Network management and troubleshooting: **VPC, NAT, NACL, Security Groups, ALB/NLB**. * Optimization and support of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and managed services (RDS). * Support and tuning of caching systems such as **Redis (ElastiCache)**. * Implementation and enforcement of security standards using **AWS Security Hub**, AWS Config, CloudTrail, and IAM. **Advanced Systems and Linux** * Advanced Linux administration: * Real-time process diagnostics (ps, top, renice, strace, perf). * Network connection analysis (tcpdump, ngrep, netstat). * systemd management and filesystem troubleshooting. * Kernel parameter tuning (sysctl) and system performance analysis. * Strong scripting and SQL skills. * Manual interaction with APIs. * In-depth understanding of DNS functionality. **Containers and Orchestration** * Advanced administration of **Kubernetes (EKS)** and its ecosystem (Istio, Kong). * Management of Cloudera Manager and Big Data components (HDFS, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Ranger, etc.). **Observability and Security** * Monitoring and alerting with **Prometheus/Alertmanager, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch**. * Alert configuration and automated response orchestration using **Jira Operations**, AWS SNS/SQS. * PagerDuty knowledge (desirable). **Automation and Infrastructure as Code** * Automation of operations and deployments using **Terraform (mandatory)**, Ansible, and Packer. * DevOps mindset focused on continuous improvement and reduction of manual effort. **Skills and Competencies** * DevOps mindset and strong automation orientation. * Excellent diagnostic and complex problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Experience working with agile methodologies: **Scrum and Kanban**. **Desirable** * Certifications: **AWS, CKA/CKAD, ITIL4, Terraform, DevOps**, or Linux (Ubuntu/Red Hat). * Experience with event-driven architectures and **Apache Kafka**. **Conditions** * **Experience:** +5 years * **Location:** Anywhere we have an office, in accordance with our on-site policy. * **Salary:** **€50,000 gross annually** Location (Hybrid)
