We are currently collaborating with **Proyectos IFG**, a leading Spanish engineering firm specializing in data centers, which is seeking to hire an **Electrical Engineer – Data Center Projects**.
The selected candidate will play a key role in the **design and development of low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical solutions** for data center projects, participating from the conceptual phase through construction management—**without assuming site management responsibilities**.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading comprehensive electrical system design for data center projects—from concept through implementation.
* Performing technical calculations and studies: LV and MV load analysis, lighting studies, installation sizing, earthing design, and PUE energy analysis.
* Developing detailed technical specifications for LV and MV electrical equipment (lighting, transformers, switchboards, MV switchgear, etc.).
* Preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and technical tender documents.
* Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, collaborating with regulatory bodies to validate designs.
* Participating in international projects alongside group teams in **Italy and the United States**.
* Conducting occasional client and site visits for data collection and technical follow-up.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, we seek a candidate who brings:
* University degree in **Electrical Engineering**, officially recognized and qualifying for signing off on engineering projects.
* **4–5 years** of professional experience in electrical project design and management within industrial or engineering environments.
* Experience in **LV, MV, and HV** projects.
* Experience in data center projects is **desirable but not mandatory**.
* Knowledge of Spanish regulatory frameworks, pre-construction procedures, and technical standards.
* **High-level English proficiency is mandatory** (minimum B2), as project deliverables and communication with international clients are conducted in English.
* Proficiency with calculation and design tools such as **ETAP, Caneco BT, Dialux, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud**, Microsoft Office, and specialized software such as **Ecodial or Amikit**.
* Strong analytical ability, results orientation, and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
