Job Summary: We are seeking an SAP Support Specialist to join a Procurement IT team, collaborating with the CEO Procurement Team and the UK business within an international corporate environment. Functional support: requirement gathering, SAP configuration, and customization. We are looking for an **SAP Support Specialist** to join a Procurement-focused IT team, working in direct collaboration with the **CEO Procurement Team** and in coordination with the business in the UK (Santander UK). You will be part of an agile, multidisciplinary team based in **Madrid, Málaga, or Cantabria**, with some geographical flexibility. This is a key role to ensure operational continuity, continuous improvement, and evolution of SAP systems in an international corporate environment. Key Responsibilities SAP Technical Support* Diagnose, analyze, and resolve incidents in SAP systems. * Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance. * Coordinate with the SAP Basis team on updates, patches, and upgrades. User Support* Provide first-level support to end users for SAP-related queries and incidents. * Train and guide users on SAP functionality. * Create and maintain documentation and training materials. * ️ Functional Support * Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. * Configure and customize SAP modules aligned with business processes. * Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of enhancements and new functionalities. Incident Management* Log, track, and resolve tickets. * Analyze recurring issues and define corrective actions. Collaboration* Work jointly with internal IT teams and external SAP consultants. * Serve as the direct point of contact with business areas to ensure functional alignment. Essential Requirements* \+5 years of experience in SAP environments. * Solid understanding of SAP architecture and functionality. * Practical experience with modules such as **Ariba, AP, AR, GL, MM, or ABAP**. * Experience in Agile environments / product teams. * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * High level of English (communication with the UK). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Desirable Requirements * SAP certifications. * Prior experience in international environments. * Background in Procurement projects or the financial sector.
