Description

The selected professional will join the production team of an industrial plant dedicated to malt manufacturing. Responsibilities include continuous supervision of the entire automated process, ensuring year-round uninterrupted operation. This involves actively monitoring the barley soaking, germination, and roasting stages, as well as managing by-products. The candidate must also monitor auxiliary facilities such as boilers, water purification systems, and refrigeration rooms, taking periodic samples to verify quality parameters. In the logistics area, the candidate will supervise the automated receipt of raw materials into silos and the dispatch of the final product via truck-loading systems, recording all movements in the computerized system. Daily tasks include completing work reports and digital documentation. A key part of the role involves executing the industrial cleaning plan using manual, mechanical, and authorized chemical methods to maintain hygiene and food safety standards. The candidate will also support the maintenance department in preventive and corrective machinery tasks and occasionally participate in bulk maritime container loading, operating bagging equipment and conveyor belts. The contract is temporary and full-time. A Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification is required; technical disciplines are preferred. Candidates must be over 18 years of age, hold a valid Class B driving license, and have their own vehicle for commuting. A minimum of three years’ experience performing similar duties in an industrial setting—particularly in supervision, continuous process control, and industrial cleaning—is mandatory. Proficiency in using computer equipment such as computers and tablets is essential for daily performance. Accredited occupational safety training is compulsory, along with a strong safety culture applied to industrial environments, as well as knowledge of food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
