We operate through approximately twenty agencies nationwide. You will join the Madrid Agency, responsible for projects in Spain and collaborating closely with various agencies in France—particularly in the Water Cycle and Structural Engineering sectors. Within this agency—the headquarters of INFRANEO’s Spanish subsidiary, currently expanding and composed of 5 engineers and technicians—you will enjoy an enjoyable and dynamic work environment offering numerous challenges. Your main responsibilities will include proposing technical solutions to meet client needs for designing rehabilitation works for existing structures or new constructions in underground works (water sector) or structural engineering (civil engineering structures and buildings). You will report to the Madrid Agency’s Calculation Department in either the water or structural engineering sector, under the supervision of the Madrid subsidiary’s director. You will perform all tasks related to diagnosis or construction of structures: inspections, monitoring, diagnosis, modeling, and recommendations. You will be involved in calculation and modeling of underground structures (structural behavior, soil\-structure interaction) for rehabilitation or new construction projects. This includes, but is not limited to: * Preparing estimates. * Identifying technical diagnostic requirements. * Organizing tasks (on-site works, studies involving multiple stakeholders). * Drafting diagnostic reports and technical opinions on works. * Writing assumptions notes. * Writing calculation notes (for rehabilitating existing structures or designing new ones). * Performing numerical modeling (finite element software) and drafting reports. * Reviewing contractors’ technical documentation (execution approval—VISA d'exécution). Your rigor, technical knowledge, and ability to perform calculations will be essential in carrying out assigned tasks. While reporting to the Madrid Agency, you will also contribute remotely to projects carried out in France, primarily supporting business managers from the Water Cycle division (underground and geotechnical structures) and the Structural Engineering division (civil engineering structures and buildings). You hold a Master’s degree (Bac\+5) in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. Ideally, you have prior experience in a consulting engineering office and are proficient in finite element calculation software and structural design. However, the position remains open to entry-level candidates based on profile and preliminary interview. Required Skills / Qualities: * Demonstrated knowledge and experience (> 1 year) in calculation and design of underground structures and infrastructure. * Willingness to visit structures—both underground and above-ground—as required by projects. * Team-oriented, enjoy exchanging ideas, and capable of critically reviewing your own work and proposing improvement solutions. * Autonomous and curious, you independently prepare reports while directly coordinating with other engineers and project managers, and propose constructive solutions tailored to client needs. * Dynamic, rigorous, organized, and possessing strong interpersonal skills (positive and cheerful mindset). * Languages: professional proficiency or bilingualism in Spanish and French; English proficiency is an asset.
